Week 56: Hello :)

So first off, I do not have much time today to email, but I will send a little update. :)

Sister Abubo has transferred so now its just me and Sister Doria, a little sad because Sister Abubo was such a light to be around :) But she is needed in her new area I guess :)

This week rainy season has started and so if you want to know what our mission life is like: Imagine me walking all over our area through the little flooded areas, muddy paths and holding my beloved umberella in my little croc flats. SO GRATEFUL :)

I used my 1 cardigan I brought which I never thought I would use. But hey! I guess my body is now acclimated to the Philippines as I was SO COLD the other day all wet from the rain haha. Crazy :) But I am still happy as the rain is actually kind of fun when you keep your attitude in check :)

There have been NO people out because of the rain. So as we walk I make sure to talk to any one we see. We were walking and saw a man, Butchoy, and talked to him and turns out he is one of the men that was running for a local government position (how awesome!) and used to live near the church and play basketball there with members all the time!! (God uses those basketball courts for so many miracles here in the Philippines). And after a short time talking about his successful children and their families he invited us to share with him and his wife this upcoming week so happy day! :) Then after Butchoy, we walked probably 2 homes away and talked to the next young man and his cute daughter and turns out he is the son of a less active member which is pretty cool!!

We are working hard and hopefully the Lord will show us the people we need to find and teach here. I have faith that the miracles will come soon.

We were blessed with food again as members gave us young coconut, avocado, and bananas (there are soooo many banana trees here). Ive eaten cute small ones, ones that are green when they are ripe and probably every banana that exists... except for these red ones Ive heard about here haha.

Also a fun fact! One of the companionships in our district are teaching a girl named Rapunzel. HOW COOL IS THAT?? (If you know me well you know I love Rapunzel... haha).

Thats all for this week. I love you all and I am so grateful for the prayers :)

Love Sister Masters
