Week 46: Happy Easter

Hello everyone.
So I can send picture, the problem is my cord... haha.
This week was Semana Santa which basically means, everything is closed on Thursday and Friday, people dont work and they have a cool "Procession" where they have big statues and such and they parade them around the city with tons of people and they pray their memorized prayers. It was a cool cultural thing to see as most people here are Catholic due to the Spanish colonization here in the Philippines (Ill try to include pictures and a short video of that). Then on Sunday all the people party and celebrate. That was a loud Sunday haha.
But the most exciting thing this week was a really cool Testifying Contact (we talk to people and tell them about the truth of the restored gospel). We had eaten at one of our dear members, the Fiel family on Saturday night and on the way back we experienced a small miracle  One tricycle driver wanted us to pay a high price to go to our apartment and we refused and a younger driver was near by and agreed to take us to our apartment. As soon as we got in his tricycle, he asked "Ano relihyon niyo?" (What is your religion) and we told him we were missionaries of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but well known as mormons. We then asked what his religion was. Expecting to hear that he was Catholic, he told us he was a member of "Iglesia ni Cristo" (INC) and I was very surprised as he began to be sincerely curious about our religion as normally members of the INC church are not the most approachable and the members are not allowed to listen to other religions... Any way, he said he goes to other churches (SO RARE FOR A MEMBER OF INC) because he is searching for the truth. It was such a good feeling to know that Sister Salan and I are representatives of the original church of Jesus Christ. We bore testimony to him that even though all other churches say they are the truth, that THIS IS THE TRUTH, and that he could know it for himself if he had faith and a sincere desire and asked our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ through prayer and we gave him a pamphlet. The Spirit testified there as we told him that when we got out of the tricyce and told him how we ourselves have come to know that this is the truth. It was very exciting to know that I have played a small role in helping him almost finally quench that thirst to find the truth. Hopefully we will see him next Sunday at church.
The other news is that Brother Johnny and Sister China are progressing, they are reading the Book of Mormon and coming to church and I truly love our investigators here. I love this work and this gospel.
I hope you all know you are loved by our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ and me  Stay strong. Keep praying and take a chance and read the Book of Mormon
Love, Sister Masters
Im pointing to the hole I fell into last week.
