Week 20: Mashed Potatoes and Buko
So I have new companions and I love them. A LOT. We follow all the rules strictly and work hard daily. We ask inspired questions and get people to express their thoughts. We are teaching future leaders and families :) I am so happy. Truly the gospel is joyous and brings so much light to the world.
One of my companions is Sister Genanda and she actually goes home this October 10 back to Manila, Sister Bruno is my other companion from Bacolod (so she speaks Hiligaynon as a native and is SO STINKING HELPFUL in the language). I am happy as they are very loving, fun and Ive given up on eating healthy as Sister Genanda gives us YUMMY snacks all the time as we daily plan or companionship study.
Im happier as I have stopped missing my American home and started making place in my heart for a home in the Philippines for the next 13 months.
Also this week was filled with spiritual experiences and I loved hearing messages from our General Women's Conference and Im excited to hear from our living apostles next weekend! :) I havent seen it yet, Ill see it later, the Philippines is a week behind cause we wait for the rebroadcast cause of the time difference. I hope you are all well :)
I made mashed potatoes :) and ate and drank buko :)
